As a small girl, Jane spent summers at her grandparent’s summer home on Walloon Lake. They would arrive Memorial Day and stay until Labor Day. That precious time formulated her childhood memories and those years were the beginning of her NoMi life. Little did she know then that she would marry her Walloon Lake childhood sweetheart and make her life and raise children here in the most beautiful part of the state.

After graduating with a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, she started her career in their family business of automotive sales. That led to several other sales careers and as life would have it, took her to Harbor Springs. She has always been one to look for the next journey and the fork in the road, so to speak. She appreciates learning new skills and adventuring through life. Once Jane began her real estate career, it was a perfect fit! She loves this business and has had several wonderful mentors help to hone her skills. Reading people has become somewhat of an art to Jane, which she believes is her best asset in negotiating deals, and it keeps the job interesting and fresh!

Jane also believes contributing to the community is a duty everyone should take on. Throughout her years here, she has started the Northern Michigan Diaper Pantry and the Food Backpack Program. With the help of many friends, she has been able to help many of the children in our area. Raising money and supplying diapers for years warmed her heart and made her feel that she was truly making a difference. With one of her best friends, she also started a weekend food program for the 5 elementary schools in Petoskey. Every Friday, they provided around 100 kits for weekend food for kids, which was very successful. Both of these programs are now with Manna, our local food pantry. As the need grew, it became an enormous endeavor that needed more than just herself to continue thriving. And while she misses these two programs, she is always on the hunt for another need to fill. She believes that life is a balance, and it is important to work towards keeping the scales even.

Jane has lived in NoMi for over 30 years. She and her husband, Brian, raised their two boys in the area and are now empty nesting and enjoying all that the area has to offer. Jane has sold real estate for almost 20 years, and her successful career focuses on waterfront, residential and commercial sales. Please consider her for all of your real estate needs!
